It's only Week 2?!
In some ways it feels like I've been at Cambridge for months and in other ways I am still getting acclimated to the British and distinctly Cambridge way of life. But somehow, we've only just completed Week 2!
Week 2 has been a highlight as it was filled with a lot of moments that you can only get in Oxbridge.
On Monday, the crew in Queens' booked some college punts and tested the waters. I was not brave enough to try to steer the ship, but from what I've been told, it's harder than it looks. The views on the River Cam are stunning! Our next door neighbor is King's College and seeing the chapel from the backs might be one of the top views in Cambridge that I've seen thus far.
Luckily, no one fell in

Tuesday brought my MBA College Dinner at Magdalene College. The business school split the class up and placed us in different colleges for these dinners. I have to say that the vibes at Magdalene were immaculate. There are no light fixtures in the dining hall, so we had to eat by candlelight.

Friday brought part of our matriculation activities! We all donned our graduate gowns and met the president of Queens'. In true British fashion, it started raining as we gathered to take our group photo. It turned into a cold, rainy, and windy day. All three are killer, Denver did not properly prepare me for 'real' winter. That aside, it was really fun to fully immerse myself into the Cambridge culture and truly be a part of the University. I also had some flashbacks to robing day at STE.
