Week 2 of the Lent term proved to be incredibly busy. We're exhausted this week after several days filled with three classes apiece. On top of that, the social calendar was quite full this week too (I know, boo hoo). On Tuesday, a group gathered for Ruth's birthday at Peterhouse College. We wore headbands in her honor! T'was one of the best meals at Peterhouse that I've ever had!   Wednesday brought the first grade release of Michaelmas finals. For reference, the grading scale in the UK is QUITE different than what I'm used to in the States. So far, so good on grades. As far as I know, everyone has passed, but we await five more grades to close out Michaelmas Term.  What a stellar GPA I could have had in engineering school with this system ;) As one of the social chairs, I visited the Fitzwilliam Museum to see if we could host an event there - I love a party at a museum. The night ended with the space team pizza dinner, always a good time with this crew. On Thursday

WE BACK

Lent Term has officially kicked off, and I have a feeling that it's going to be a good term. We hit the ground running, which to be fair, is the theme of a one-year MBA programme.  It was great to see folks again, trying to catch up as much as possible in between classes. We've switched streams (the group we have our core lectures with) for this term - which is great, but I don't recognize some faces. Have to work on that. Monday night ended with a formal, I was placed at Christ College for this term. Stellar group, we had a lovely dinner and then went to a pub nearby to meet up with other formals! Tuesday was rough, had back to back to back classes, which starts to drain the brain. But thank goodness for Queens' canteen! One of the only (maybe the only) dining hall that stays open till 2pm, so we have 30 minutes to go grab food. Needless to say, Queens' has become popular among the MBA cohort for this reason. We took up 3 rows in the cafeteria on Tuesday... Thursda

Buckle up y'all, this is a long one.  The holiday break started off with a bang, hitting up allllll the Christmasy things. We started off in London for a night, and tour guide extraordinaire, Rebecca led us to all the fabulous lights that London has to offer.                              One of our favorite                      " Brandon take a picture of us with the crown" Gold macaroons on sale The best Can't leave Cambridge if we tried The next day Rebecca and I explored some more of London before hopping on the Eurostar to make our way to Brussels - Team Mozart was complete.                                                                         What could have been at Imperial College We only had ~24 hours in Brussels so we made the most of them. We accidentally stumbled upon the light show in the main square, which turned out to be lovely with all the lights on! Hit up Delirium Cafe and ended the night in McDonald's where we learned about the toilet scheme
